2 Schleprock were led to their 3 point victory by a 40 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Minnesota Vikings defense for 412 passing yards and 5 passing TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards. With this performance, Brees was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 15. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Michael Bush, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 77 rushing yards in addition to 62 receiving yards.
"You dream about this as a kid," 2 Schleprock coach Marty said.
1 Bid 66 Bandits were helped out in a losing cause by a 35 point effort from Roddy White, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 135 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, White was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 15. They also got help from a 27 point effort from Arian Foster, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 109 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 58 receiving yards.
"Our defense didn't show up today," 1 Bid 66 Bandits coach John C said.
Causing further embarrassment, 1 Bid 66 Bandits could have scored 162 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but John C left key players like Toby Gerhart and his corresponding 21 points on the bench.
1 Bid 66 Bandits drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 15. This brings the record for 2 Schleprock to 7-4, and drops 1 Bid 66 Bandits to a record of 8-3.
