Round Rock Bullz (205.55) at Mississippi Bluesmen (186.25)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 TINO Ultimate Dynasty League showdown, Round Rock Bullz squeaked by a tough Mississippi Bluesmen team by a score of 205.55 to 186.25, silencing a partisan crowd of 69,187.

Round Rock Bullz were led to their 19.30 point victory by a 31.55 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 287 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 52 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 24.10 point effort from Steven Jackson, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 149 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 17 receiving yards.

"You dream about this as a kid," Round Rock Bullz coach The Myth said.

Mississippi Bluesmen were helped out in a losing cause by a 36.90 point effort from Chris Johnson, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 228 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 11 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 26.00 point effort from Curtis Lofton, who beat the New Orleans Saints offense for 12 tackles.

"They out-coached us," Mississippi Bluesmen coach Bluewolf said.

Compounding the issue, Mississippi Bluesmen could have scored 219.25 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Bluewolf left key players like Josh Brown and his corresponding 11.80 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Round Rock Bullz to 3-5, and drops Mississippi Bluesmen to a record of 5-3.

Coming up in week 9, the 3-5 Buffalo Bandits are at Round Rock Bullz, where Round Rock Bullz are an early 18.8-point favorite, while the 6-2 Lanham Ladykillers are at Mississippi Bluesmen, where Mississippi Bluesmen are an early 5.3-point favorite.
