Round Rock Bullz were led to their 6.55 point victory by a 28.10 point effort from Steven Jackson, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 131 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 45 receiving yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 2 ranked running back for week 10. They also got help from a 21.00 point effort from Gary Brackett, who beat the New England Patriots offense for 8 tackles.
"We knew we had to defend our home turf," Round Rock Bullz coach The Myth said.
Calexico Guapos were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.30 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 133 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 10 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 5 ranked running back for week 10. They also got help from a 23.00 point effort from Antrel Rolle, who beat the Seattle Seahawks offense for 9 tackles and 1 interception.
"It just wasn't meant to be," Calexico Guapos coach Royaltee said.
Adding salt to the wound, Calexico Guapos could have scored 251.40 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Royaltee left key players like Lance Briggs and his corresponding 18.00 points on the bench.
Calexico Guapos drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 10.
This brings the record for Round Rock Bullz to 5-5, and drops Calexico Guapos to a record of 6-4.
