Carolina Toe Lickers (138.5) at Northern Michigan Artic Blast (139.35)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 TINO Ultimate Dynasty League classic, Northern Michigan Artic Blast squeaked by a tough Carolina Toe Lickers team by a score of 139.35 to 138.50, silencing a partisan crowd of 70,736.

Northern Michigan Artic Blast were led to their 0.85 point victory by a 29.65 point effort from Jay Cutler, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 273 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 10 rushing yards. With this performance, Cutler was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 21.70 point effort from Ryan Grant, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 97 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs.

"We took them out of their game," Northern Michigan Artic Blast coach Aaron (Five-O) said.

Carolina Toe Lickers were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.50 point effort from Bradie James, who beat the Washington Redskins offense for 12 tackles. With this performance, James was the number 5 ranked defensive linebacker for week 16. They also got help from a 21.20 point effort from Philip Rivers, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 264 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

"I take full responsibility for this loss," Carolina Toe Lickers coach Jayson said.

Adding salt to the wound, Carolina Toe Lickers could have scored 185.10 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jayson left key players like Aqib Talib and his corresponding 14.50 points on the bench.

Northern Michigan Artic Blast took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Northern Michigan Artic Blast to 5-8, and drops Carolina Toe Lickers to a record of 4-9.
