(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 TINO Dynasty Football League intra-divisional matchup, Redcliff Maple Leafs beat a strong Verona Venom team by a score of 123.5 to 104.0, extending the losing streak for Verona Venom to 3 games.

Redcliff Maple Leafs were led to their 19.5 point victory by a 25.0 point effort from Matt Forte, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 90 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 31 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 4 ranked running back for week 8. They also got help from a 19.5 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 97 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 44 receiving yards.

"This win is for all the fans," Redcliff Maple Leafs coach TJ Ford said.

Verona Venom were helped out in a losing cause by a 30.5 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the New York Giants defense for 240 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 14 rushing yards. With this performance, McNabb was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 8. They also got help from a 13.5 point effort from Steve Smith, who snuck past the Arizona Cardinals defense for 56 receiving yards and 1 receiving td in addition to 17 rushing yards.

"He always has his team ready to play," Verona Venom coach Chef Dawg said.

This brings the record for Redcliff Maple Leafs to 3-5, and drops Verona Venom to a record of 3-5.

Coming up in week 9, the 4-4 California Sun are at Redcliff Maple Leafs, where Redcliff Maple Leafs are an early 8.2-point favorite, while Verona Venom are at the 4-3-1 Shoal Creek Bullz, where Shoal Creek Bullz are an early 29-point favorite.
